YouSellIt is a place where people post things for sale and other people buy them. YouSellIt is the marketplace intermediary. YouSellIt is not the seller. The seller is the person who posted the listing. The buyer is the person who pays.
Payment uses escrow through Stripe. The buyer pays the listing price. YouSellIt holds that money. The seller confirms the meetup. Then the payout goes to the seller. If the deal is canceled before the seller confirms, the buyer is refunded.
Meetups are at your own risk. Safe spots in the app are suggestions. They are not a promise that a place is safe. The exact address stays hidden until close to the meetup time.
A listing is a 10-second video pitch. You still have to follow the prohibited goods rules. Do not post anything you are not allowed to sell.
You and the other person are responsible for what you agree, what you hand over, and where you meet.
